What is the Rock for Life Summer Concert Admission Policy?
The show is all ages. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult! Rock for Life will not tolerate any illegal drug or alcohol use or activity. Any individual caught violating Rock for Life policies or any violation of the state of Pennsylvania pertaining to drugs and alcohol will be prosecuted in a court of law. There will be PA State Police patrolling the area as there was at last year's event. All we ask is have a good time within the letter of the law, respect the community and Young Twp. What is the Rock for Life Summer Concert?
What started out as a benefit show for Vandergrift fireman Mark Gregory in 2000, Rock For Life, a not-for-profit Benefit Concert Event, is now entering its seventh year of raising money for victims of cancer and other serious medical conditions. Past recipients of this benefit have also included Christina Calendrella of Avonmore (2001), Jonathan Beck of Avonmore (2002), The Helping Hands Society (2003), Jasmine Henry of Vandergrift (2004) and Alexander Hooks of Ford City (2005). Founded by veteran AK Valley musicians Steve Craven and Matt Ferrante, along with Road Dog Sean ?Mullett? Minik, Rock For Life taps the energy and talent of the local and regional music scene to provide an all day concert event that music lovers of any genre can enjoy.
Held at a ball field in Iselin, PA since its second year, bands and fans alike can enjoy an entire weekend of the Rock For Life experience., all for the worthy cause of helping someone in an unfortunate situation.
Is there alcohol sold at the Summer Concert?
Rock For Life is a BYOB concert. You must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol in the state of Pennsylvania. Should you be of age, and planning on drinking, please either plan on camping on site or bringing a designated driver with you.
Are we allowed to bring outside food to the Summer Concert?
You may bring your own food and beverages. There will be vendors available on site as well. We do ask that you do NOT bring glass bottles.
Are restrooms provided at the Summer Concert?
Port-A-Johns are provided for your convenience.
Are we allowed to bring ATVs, dirt bikes, etc to the Summer Concert?
Motor vehicles, other than the car you arrived in, are not permitted on the grounds.
Is camping available for the Summer Concert?
Camping is available on site surrounding the perimeter of the field. There are no electrical hook-ups. You must provide your own camping equipment. Please keep your camping area and the field clean and in good condition when you leave on Sunday. There are garbage cans located throughout the field, please use them.
Stick around after the events
After the show is over, stick around and help clean up. This would go a long way with making everyone realize how committed and professional Rock for Life is.
